Biography: Jason is an only child, born and raised in the state of Arizona. His mother is a kindergarten teacher and his father is a minister. They support their son no matter what he does, they encourage him to be social, help people and such. His father being a minister, it gives Jason a lot of opportunities to sing in front of Church, which he loves doing.

Relationship with Shelley Morena: Moving into the Idol house, Jason immediately knew Shelley was the kind of girl his parents would hook him up with. She was the perfect daughter-in-law kind of girl and he liked that. He liked how he could be himself around her and not be judged by his actions or believes. Knowing Shelley was quiet the innocent, sensitive kind of person, Jason wanted to take it slow with her. After Roxie had convinced Jason to go out partying with her, both  returned back home, completely drunk and ended up sleeping with each other.
